Pecard softens old leather, giving it a lasting suppleness. It results in a shine that can be gently buffed (on non-flaking surfaces only). Pecard greatly slows further deterioration of cracking or flaking leather.

Older leather is susceptible to over-saturation if conditioned with a liquid product so Antiques ABC recommends using Pecard Antique Leather Dressing only. The dressing is a paste which is of such density that the leather will only absorb as much as it needs. No more worries of ruining your valuable leather items!

Instructions for using Pecard Antique Leather Dressing:

Antique Leather Dressing is slightly yellow in color and has very little to no scent. The consistency is likened to that of Vaseline, except a little thicker.

Apply when the leather is between 60-80 degrees F. Using fingers, work the dressing into the leather until evenly distributed. Only use a very thin coat with each application. Let the leather absorb as much as it needs (usually within 24 hours) and buff off excess with a soft, lint-free cloth.
